A side channel blower consists of a fan wheel that rotates very closely non-contact in a housing, allowing it to build up a very strong vacuum or high overpressure. No lubrication is required and the bearing is provided with high temperature bearing grease. Our motors are distinguished by efficient three-phase motors that can run from 37 – 87 Hz. Due to very precise production, tolerances are small, which means that the specified curves also correspond in practice. A curve of this pump principle decreases as the over- or underpressure increases. At low backpressure, high flow rates are achievable with little power.
The side channel fan is widely used for conveying gases and can be supplied in ATEX versions. A side channel fan is also often called a blower.
Our program of side channel blowers consists of custom fans modified for rental. Thus, they are built into a frame and are protected during transport. As standard, they are equipped with a tuned frequency regulator, so that the user can use the side channel blower without problems and adjust it himself between 37 and 87 Hz.
