Possibilities of using fans for aerating and venting:

  • welding work;
  • dust extraction;
  • tank cleanings;
  • sewage work;
  • excavation of contaminated soil;
  • combating choking hazards;
  • after fire damage;
  • house aeration;
  • temporary storage of agricultural products;
  • ventilation of tunnels and canals;
  • underground garages and cellars;
  • rapid drying of lawns;
  • extra air movement when using construction dryer;

For an accurate calculation of the required ventilation capacity, especially for large room volumes or complicated climatic environmental conditions, please contact our specialist consultants. If desired, we analyze the individual needs on location, determine the specific device needs and work out a customized project solution. We have ventilators available on demand for almost any requirement, in the required quantities.

More information about the fans below:

Axial fans have a high air output with a relatively low pressure. As a result, they move a lot of air and are ideal for optimizing an indoor climate.
Radial fans have a lower air flow rate at a high pressure. This makes it possible to move air over a longer distance through air transport hoses. CSrental has a wide range of axial fans and radial fans with various capacities.
With axial and radial fans in all required power classes and capacities, CSrental offers the ideal fan for every application.

Ventilation can be done in different ways:
natural ventilation / uncontrolled ventilation
mechanical ventilation / controlled ventilation
deaeration / flushing

Ventilator for every need

CSrental supplies fans that are suitable for cooling tents, party rooms, showrooms, sports halls, theatres, meeting rooms, canteens, offices, etc. CSrental is also the leading supplier for ventilation for events, film and photo, for example for a summer breeze in the film or photo studio, a strong wind during TV recordings or for “drive” of cold air for promotional figures. There is an optimal fan for every need.

Calculate ventilation capacity

Roughly speaking, the required capacity can be calculated by multiplying the room volume by the air changes. The result of this calculation indicates the required amount of fans and air volume. Different calculation formulas apply to high-performance radial fans, as they are used for longer air transport distances. In calculating this, duct length and duct curvatures must be taken into account.

Frequently Asked Questions about Ventilation (FAQ)

What is the difference between the different types of fans you offer?

At CSrental, we rent out a wide range of fans, each designed for specific applications:

  • Axial fans move large volumes of air at relatively low pressure. Ideal for general air circulation and ventilation of large spaces such as tents, workshops, and halls.
  • Radial fans are suitable for transporting air over longer distances. They generate high pressure and are often used for tasks such as tank cleaning, sewer work, or ventilation through ducts.
  • Ventilation boxes combine power with a compact design. They are frequently used for dust extraction or for supplying and exhausting air in temporary situations.
  • Side channel blowers provide constant airflow for applications such as pneumatic transport, aquaculture, or air-knife drying. They deliver high pressure at a relatively low flow rate.

Our specialists are happy to help you select the right fan for your situation.

What are CSrental’s fans typically used for?

Our fans are extremely versatile. Common applications include:

  • Extracting welding fumes, paint and varnish vapors
  • Ventilation during tank cleaning, excavation, or sewer maintenance
  • Aerating basements, tunnels, or underground parking garages
  • Accelerating drying processes in construction projects
  • Cooling event locations, film sets, or workplaces
  • Removing harmful substances after fire or water damage
  • Storage ventilation for agricultural products

For almost every situation, CSrental can provide a suitable solution. Our specialists are happy to discuss your needs with you.

How do I determine the ventilation capacity I need?

This depends on the size of the space, the type of application, and how quickly you want the air to be refreshed. A simple rule of thumb: multiply the room volume by the number of desired air changes per hour. This gives you an indication of the required capacity in m³/h.

In practice, however, things are often more complex—such as long duct runs, sharp bends, or special conditions. That’s why we are happy to think along with you. Our specialists can make a tailored calculation and, if necessary, visit your site to recommend the right fan(s).

How quickly can the fans be delivered in urgent cases?

We understand that ventilation sometimes needs to be arranged urgently, for example after fire damage or during maintenance work. Thanks to our large stock and own transport fleet, we can often deliver within just a few hours. Contact us directly and we will immediately look at what is possible.

Do you also provide installation and connection of the fans on-site?

Yes. If you wish, we can take care of the complete installation and connection of the fans on-site. Our technicians ensure safe and correct setup, tailored to your project. Of course, you can also install the equipment yourself; everything is delivered ready-to-use with clear instructions.
