Cooling with a chiller?
The chiller is among the most widely used cooling systems and cooling technologies. It owes this to one specific characteristic, namely its ability to cool below 0º C.
Whereas many other cooling systems can only cool to ambient temperature, chillers can cool below ambient temperature. By using a mixture of water and environmentally friendly glycol, chillers can achieve lower cooling temperatures. This is often necessary because in e.g. process cooling installations, refrigeration & freezer cells and ice rinks, the water temperature is set well below 0º C.
