Condensation dryers

With condenser dryers, the sucked in and moist air is strongly cooled by means of a condenser. the evaporator section of a closed refrigeration system.

Due to this cooling, the relative humidity of the air rises above 100%, causing the water vapor to condense. The condensed water is drained to a reservoir or is led outside through hoses. The heat released in the condenser of the refrigeration system is used to cool the air above the original temperature.

Adsorption dryers

Desiccant dryers make use of the moisture-absorbing capacity of substances such as silica gel and lithium chloride. These substances are impregnated on a rotating ceramic wheel, which blows the moist air out of the room.

The hygroscopic material absorbs a large part of the moisture and the air then leaves, dry the adsorption dryer. Depending on the model, this process takes place over two separate steps air ducts (Dual) or via a common air stream (Mono), of which a partial air stream is then used for regeneration.

Separated air flows offer the advantage of pressure-neutral convection drying with higher drying results and significantly more energy efficiency when installed indoors and outdoors.
